We are looking for a Head of Acquisition Marketing to join our Marketing team. As the Head of Acquisition Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and delivering our acquisition strategy. rebuy is the most known re-commerce platform for electronics and media in Germany. Success in this role will lead to even more people hearing about rebuy and becoming customers, and offers real potential for personal development.

In this role you will be supporting and developing the existing Acquisition team, continue to expand our capabilities and coverage over relevant channels, with an eye on ai & automation, advanced analytics, and business impact. 


You'll work with Commercial, Brand, Retention, Creative, Product, Data, Martech and others, bringing a customer and data supported perspective to both results and development opportunities. To be successful, you'll balance the big picture with minute detail, and provide an outstanding atmosphere for your team and peers to prosper.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the CMO, create and own acquisition strategy. You will design an acquisition strategy that supports our company & strategy marketing, stays relevant as the business evolves, and delivers tangible value covering relevant platforms

  • Continue channel development, with a focus on measurement, messaging, and automation in a two side market place. Always starting pragmatically while working towards levering automation

  • Collaborate and lead across the organization. You will directly lead and mentor a growing team of experts across Google, Display, Paid Social, Affiliates, and SEO. You will represent the voice of the Acquisition Marketing across the organization, and be able to quantify opportunity and deliver against it

  • Measurement and Attribution underpin all work, you’ll manage and communicate our framework aware of the pros and cons of different techniques

  • Automate, and leverage AI where practical. We’re eager to fully leverage this new development and your hands-on approach to finding value is key

 

Job requirements

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in e-commerce or another high-volume, fast-paced environment. You’ve successfully built and led high performing teams.

  • Strategic thinker and executor - capable of defining acquisition strategies, setting clear KPIs, forecasting outcomes, and driving actionable plans to deliver results.

  • Deep expertise in at least one acquisition channel (e.g., paid search, social, affiliate, SEO) from a highly competitive landscape. You’ve already scaled performance in one or two areas and are ready to expand your impact.

  • A servant leadership mindset, focused on enabling and empowering an ambitious, talented team to thrive and grow.

  • Data fluency - you’re confident navigating tracking technologies, data storage and streaming A/B testing, attribution models, and real-time analytics. You know how to shift tactics and strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Strong commercial acumen - you can quickly separate noise from meaningful insight and understand how marketing impacts broader business objectives.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across teams, seniority level, and departments.
