Senior Category Manager (m/f/x)

As a Category Manager, you know the consumer electronics market by heart and you are up to date with the latest trends. Not only your broad product knowledge but especially your feeling for customer needs will help you to make our customers happy. With your help we can be sure that our customer will always find what they are looking for. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong focus on growth and P&L metrics, with the end goal to make your categories successful, and our customers delighted.

We are currently looking for several Category Managers and welcoming applications from Junior to Senior. Please note that the responsibilities may vary depending on your experience level. The key responsibilities noted here are for the senior position.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the full P&L for your categories as well as the category’s inventory

• You will develop the category strategy based on your market, customer and competitor analysis

• You will define your product assortment considering performance and customer intent

• You will be responsible for the day-to-day pricing of your assortment and working closely with the data science teams to develop the pricing logic further

• You will be planning and executing marketing campaigns together with our campaign team

• You will be closely working with paid marketing teams to improve marketing efficiency for your categories, as well as operation team, to improve your stock quality and unit economics

• You will be driving key projects between departments

• +5 years of relevant experience in Category Management (e-commerce or retail) or Business Consulting

• Excellent understanding of P&L, e-commerce drivers, and pricing

• Prior experience with creating sales campaigns, as well as working with paid marketing teams are a plus

• Critical and analytical thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Clear, crisp, and actionable communication

• Proven ability to lead complex projects with various stakeholders

• Good knowledge of MS Office and a passion for Excel

• Fluent in English; German or another European language skills are a plus
