Senior Analyst, Pricing & Revenue Optimization (m/f/x)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst, Pricing and Revenue Optimization (m/f/x), to join our Data Science and Analytics team as a strategic partner and technical expert.

In this role, you will steer our pricing strategy and commercial analytics function, translating complex data into actionable business insights that directly impact revenue and profitability.

You will work collaboratively on high-impact projects and partner with senior leadership to shape data-driven commercial decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize end-to-end pricing strategies, including algorithm development, implementation, and continuous performance monitoring

• Design and execute complex pricing experiments and A/B tests, analyzing results and providing strategic recommendations to leadership

• Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models and algorithms using advanced analytical techniques and machine learning approaches

• Generate commercial insights by conducting deep-dive analyses on pricing elasticity, customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive positioning

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Operations, and Finance to identify opportunities and solve complex business challenges

• Create and automate reporting frameworks and dashboards to enable self-service analytics across the organization

• Establish best practices for pricing analytics, experimentation, and commercial decision-making

• Stay current with industry trends in pricing optimization, e-commerce analytics, and circular economy business models

• Approximately 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, pricing, or related analytical roles, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace environments

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (including libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels)

• Experience designing and executing A/B tests and experiments with measurable business impact

• Solid statistical knowledge and experience with predictive modeling and optimization techniques

• Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations

• Effective stakeholder management skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership

• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and commercial awareness

• Motivated and organized, thriving in dynamic environments

• Advanced English skills are required; German is a plus

Preferred

• Experience with pricing algorithms, dynamic pricing, or revenue management systems

• Knowledge of causal inference methods and advanced experimental design

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)

• Experience in sustainability-focused or circular economy businesses

• Understanding of marketplace or two-sided platform dynamics
