We are looking for a Data Architect to join our Data team, a critical part of our tech infrastructure at rebuy. This role offers the opportunity to shape and optimize our data ecosystem, ensuring seamless operations that drive our platform forward.

You will play a key role in maintaining a robust and scalable data architecture. Your work will enable smooth data flows, optimize performance, and support teams across the company with reliable, high-quality data. You'll have the autonomy to make technical decisions while contributing to rebuy’s mission of making sustainable electronics accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a robust data architecture to support out e-commerce operations

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our data infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors in the data pipeline

  • Manage permissions and access controls in all of our tooling

  • Oversee and optimize data flows using tools like DBT, Snowflake, Airflow, and Looker

  • Implement performance enhancements for slow queries in DBT and Looker

  • Establish and enforce development standards for data processes

  • Evaluate and recommend new tools or technologies to enhance data processes

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role within a data-driven organization

  • Expertise in DBT, Snowflake, Airflow, and/or Looker

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to address data pipeline issues effectively

  • Proficiency in optimizing data processing and performance tuning in DBT and Looker

  • Ability to set and enforce development standards for efficient data processing

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for complex data challenges
